Or maybe it's just CBS that hates me. Because we live with a president who is so afraid of the press that his press conferences are a rare enough event to gain primetime network attention, when I came home tonight expecting to watch my DVR'd episode of Survivor, I got W instead. Talk about disappointment.

Come to think of it, I didn't get The O.C. recorded either. I just assumed that I'd messed up, but maybe that was W's fault, too?

Goddam it. I hate Freedom.

OC didn't air (2 eps next week), Survivor aired in CSI's slot, CSI in Without a Trace's.

You can use that Bittorent think I showed you a while back to get Survivor in about 20 minutes.

At first I thought Tivo messed up the O.C. Then I thought maybe my 1L roommate (not yet wise to the ways of the world) picked W over the O.C. But it was Fox.

Doubling up next week actually solves a long-standing problem for Fox though... what the hell to air in the 9:00 slot. Of the three shows they've tried this season, none have matched the O.C.'s ratings.

I knew that if I read this blog long enough, something useful might come out of it. (Yeah, that's totally why I read blogs.) I was so confused when Fox aired the King of the Hill and Simpsons reruns in the 8 o'clock slot, thoughout which I clung to the hope that maybe the OC would be on at 9.

Nope. Paris and Nicole. Talk about disappointment. It's one thing for W to louse up international relations, but ruining Thursday nights is just unacceptable.
