Just as a suggestion, I'd say that live drafts for fantasy gunner leagues shouldn't be held any earlier than the second full week of school, but any later than the third full week of school. This is for reasons of both equity and excitement of of gameplay. I would also suggest the drafting of one professor along with gunners. The professor's contributions would be measured in much the same way that an NFL defense is evaluated for fantasy football.
In related news, if anyone at UT is looking to place some bets on this year's Chancellors List, I'll be taking action from all comers. (The Chancellors List is a disturbingly KKK-sounding list of the top 16ish grads in each class at UT law. There's a Grand Chancellor, a Vice Chancellor, an Etherial Wizardic Chancellor, and a Lord High Fluffer.) I'll give odds on all of the named spots, and offer some more exotic Pick-Six arrangements for the at-large spots. And, as always, anyone who can predict the entire list--in order--can rename my blog to whatever they want.
