Thanks for reading, everyone.
In celebration, the request lines are open. This will be an All-Request Week.
Unless the requests suck, in which case, it will be an All-Recaps-Of-Everything-I-Watch-On-TV-This-Week Week.
For starters:
1. How did I make it until Sunday without hearing that Trump fired four people at once?
2. I think the West Wing Live Debate episode is going to be the most depressing thing on TV ever. It's just going to make it painfully, painfully, testicular-tortionly clear just how shitty real-life presidential debates are.
3. Am I losing my edge, or is Grey's Anatomy the best show on TV?
Grey's Anatomy is indubitably the best show on tv - outside of football, there isn't much else worth watching.

With the President's nomination of Alito this morning, I'm going to have to request that he get the same treatment Harriet did. It's only fair.

"TV"? What is this "TV" you speak of? Was that in the before time, in the long, long ago?

Um. Didn't some douchebag get kicked out of class for using his laptop last year? What a douche.

it's true...grey's anatomy is the best show on t.v. of course, i'm a woman so i don't know what that says about you guys who watch it.

West Wing is the Godfather III of our generation. You only watch it because you have to.
I "missed" last night's episode. I'm willing to bet, however, that it just underscored how any hack actor could probably do a better job that the Giant Douche and Turd Sandwich they usually put up for those things.

Alito. Wow couldn't Bush(TM) have picked someone more moderate, like Ghengis Kahn? Maybe they could just give Scalia two votes?
Posted by: Seth | October 31, 2005 at 10:09 AM
The new saying will be, "Scalia? Why are you talking about that liberal so much?"

Grey's Anatomy means that I don't make plans on Sunday nights. And I do make entire blog posts that do nothing but talk about its greatness.
Arrested Development is good too.
Should requests be emailed? Actually, nevermind. Just talk more about Grey's Anatomy. That'd work just great for me.

Blind Date is way better than Grey's Anatomy, but GA does have more whores.

I watched my first episode of "Grey's" last night while working on my property outline; I cried my little over-stressed 1L eyes out. Best TV show ever, but somehow the words "pole," "stuck," and "pick me" made it into my outline...

4 people at once? Wow, I'm WAY behind on my reality TV.

Katherine Heigl in just her underwear. Enough said.

Laguna Beach clearly the best show on TV with Grey's in 2nd place. and then a huge drop off until Real World at #3.
These are the rankings people no disputing them.

Wrong. Grey's Anatomy is for chicks. West Wing sucks. Best show: House.

i'm sorry. but everyone is wrong. everyone. except for me. best show on tv today is boston legal. notwithstanding john travolta's admonition that "realism is not a pervasive element in modern american [tv]," it's still the best show. ever.

I'm loving whoever said that House was the best show on TV. I absolutely love that show... Veronica Mars is a close second, with Lost right behind it.

Seriously, I can't believe this is the first time Lost has been mentioned. So maybe Dr. Jack isn't as compelling an actor as Dr. House, but dammit if it isn't the most interesting thing to watch on tv right now.
I did catch my first episode of Boston Legal last week. I liked it. What night is it on again?
Posted by: Mandy | November 02, 2005 at 12:50 PM
Lost is awesome but the last couple of new eps have been snoozers. I don't think any of the writers expected the show to go on for a second season.
Best TV of ever? Intervention on A&E. Sunday nights at 9pm (and again at 1am). A six pack of beer, your favorite recreational narcotic, and an hour of junkies crying on TV. Love it.

no edge lost, Grey's Anatomy is awesome
House is good too

Not to be rude, but are you guys f*ck*ing kidding me? Gray's Anatomy? House? I have actually changed the channel because the commercials for these shows were playing.
Wait, wait, let me guess... The doctor has a diagnosis that nobody agrees with, or some outlandish treatment that has no chance of working, except it does, thereby providing him with another excuse to make that smarmy, "I know better than you", facial expression.
Then we have Gray's Anatomy, which is really the O.C., which is really Beverly Hills 90210, except the characters in this series all work at a hospital. Beautiful people that make strong arguments for both sides of difficult moral conundrums that conveniently relate to some issue in their insipid lives. Blech!
Sorry guys, but the best show on TV by a country mile is Arrested Development. Sharp acting and the funniest, best written dialogue I've seen in ages.
